romaine lettuce and e.coli

As of December 6, 2018, there have been at least 27 cases of E. coli infections linked to contaminated romaine lettuce in Ontario and Quebec. Health Canada is recommending that the public AVOID EATING ROMAINE LETTUCE OR SALAD MIXES THAT CONTAIN ROMAINE LETTUCE unless you are able to ascertain that the lettuce does not come from the affected growing region in California. There is an additional recall that involves red and green leaf lettuce and cauliflower grown in California. More information is found here.

flu shots

We are still waiting to receive our supply of flu vaccine from Ottawa Public Health. They have informed us that we should expect them in our offices around the third week of October.

When we receive our vaccine supply, we will update the website and our phone messages.

We will have flu shot clinics available for booking once the flu vaccine is available.

You can also receive your flu vaccine from your pharmacist when they receive their supply.

The clinics at 1081 Carling Avenue are open and will be running as usual on September 24th. The after hours clinic at 1081 Carling Avenue (Unit 802) will be open on September 24th from 5pm until 8pm as previously scheduled.
