romaine lettuce and e.coli

As of December 6, 2018, there have been at least 27 cases of E. coli infections linked to contaminated romaine lettuce in Ontario and Quebec. Health Canada is recommending that the public AVOID EATING ROMAINE LETTUCE OR SALAD MIXES THAT CONTAIN ROMAINE LETTUCE unless you are able to ascertain that the lettuce does not come from the affected growing region in California.
